Our building—a restored 1800’s warehouse with 30-foot high pitched wooden ceilings, exposed brick, a full kitchen, bar and mezzanine seating—plays an elegant host for momentous occasions. Enjoy fresh air and a panoramic view of the city from our roof deck, which is nestled in a historic New Orleans neighborhood, 10 blocks from the French Quarter.
We host wedding receptions & ceremonies, rehearsal dinners, non-profit fundraising galas, corporate dinners, birthday dinners, and other large banquets.

Capulet
Capulet is a bar and restaurant with live performances on weekdays, but our we love to cater events as well. If you are interested in a variety of cuisines, plant based food, funky and unique menus, or just want some good old fashioned comfort food we are happy to work with you on a custom menu.
My House Events
My House Events, our partner, is a culinary curation company breaking the mold by providing you with a customized mix of the right chefs, logistics, and menus for your event. No two events curated by My House Events are ever the same and their team will work with you hand-in-hand from start to finish to ensure your dream is brought to life.

Our Space
The Details
Main Space
Our main space—which includes a mezzanine lounge area, a private sitting room, and space for a dance floor and a stage—can host up to 250 guests for a cocktail style reception and ~150 guests for a seated dinner. Our skilled bartenders will serve up craft cocktails, wines, and draft beers.
Roof Deck
Our roof deck—which includes a wet bar—can accommodate seated dinners for up to 135 people and ceremonies of up to 225 people.
Full Kitchen
Capulet’s full kitchen includes a 10-burner range, 2 deep fryers, 2 standard ovens, flat top grill and plenty of cold storage. So whether its our chef or yours, the food at your banquet is as hot, fresh and delicious as possible.
Parking
There is ample street parking available within the blocks that surround Capulet. We ask that you take care not to block our neighbors’ homes and driveways. If you expect many of your guests to drive, there is a parking lot directly across the street from Capulet that is subject to availability. Alternatively, you can speak with GoPark, a local company, that can tailor parking services to your event. Otherwise, we recommend that you pre-arrange shuttle transportation or encourage your guests to use ride share apps & taxis.
Location and Surrounding Businesses
Capulet is located at the intersection of Dauphine and Montegut St and has many other businesses nearby who you can speak to if you would like to have your ceremony off-site. Other potential ceremony locations nearby include but are not limited to Hotel Peter & Paul, Marigny Opera House, Clouet Gardens, Blessed Francis Seelos Church, and Macarty House.
No Tickets
For your banquet or fundraiser, Capulet has ample room for a dance floor and a live band. However, we do not host ticketed events. We live in a mixed-use commercial & residential neighborhood, we follow the City of New Orleans noise ordinance, and we generally operate modestly to respect nearby residents. Banquets at Capulet end no later than 11pm on Fridays & Saturday and 10pm on Sundays through Thursdays.
